Cam: Phil recently disappeared, so Cam's a little sad about that. They were casually dating for long enough that she had started to care about him. However, she knows the island does these things and is trying to view it in that light. She's continuing to work in the clinic, which suits her very well. I'm not sure if she'll run for council again - she's not sure she did enough good to justify being voted for again. If someone talked to her about it, she might be swayed to run. Otherwise she'll just take care of the clinic. Still flirting with Jackson, of course, which is unlikely to change. She's going on Joshua's timeloop, which will help her understand him a little more. It'll also make her very stressed for at least a little while and there will probably a contemplative EP sometime in July about it.
Eowyn: Losing the dwarves was hard on her. They helped her feel anchored to Rohan even on the island. Her friendships with the Stark clan helped, though, and they remain one of my favorite world-smushing things that the island allows. Bran is her very favorite little brother that isn't and she might even help teach Reynald to ride! She might be interested in moving closer to Summerfell at some point, if only to be nearer the horses. Summerfell is full, so she won't move TO Summerfell, but maybe a little nearer. She's also noticed that Zack is not unattractive, although it's not even a crush and it's definitely not going anywhere. She is a young woman, though, and she's not dead. Other than that, she practices, rides horses, and works on reading. She might have a reading-related EP in July. If anyone wants their pup to practice sparring, let me know and we'll do a thread.
Sam: Sam is utterly confused right now. Totally and utterly confused. He's on an island, he was there before, and he's got a kid. Also, not that he knows it yet, he's human. However, he's still his usual friendly self, so he'll be fine. He's sort of figuring out his relationship with Charlie and how to co-parent. Whether it'll end up with them dating again, I don't know. For now he's focused on being a dad to the kid he didn't know he had. He'll probably have an EP around the full moon once he realizes that not only does he not have to change, he actually cannot change. That'll be bittersweet for him.
Future: I have picked up three pups in less than a year. There is no future.

Apr. 28th, 2014 06:43 pmMe: Will be on holiday with my family for about two weeks in May, so no tags should be expected.
Cam: Misses her ability to heal with a touch. She has her list of first responders and they might have even been activated during the PvZ plot, which was, once again, awesome. Still casually dating Phil and casually kissing Jackson. Okay, that was just the once. For the future, I don't have a lot of big plot planned for her, although she's got a few pregnant patients who will be having babies shortly, so there's that. And if anyone needs a non-judgmental doctor type, let me know
Threads: Rollie, clinic staff, council types, really anyone. Cam likes people.
Eowyn: Has settled into the island and has her smallholding. She also has her combat class and is learning to read Westron better. She helps keep the horses at Summerfell in good shape. Really, she likes keeping busy. I don't have a lot of plot for her. At some point she'll get her sword, which will both alarm and delight her because it's her sword. She's developing a friendship with Zack which is unexpected but fun.

It's definitely a date
Mar. 30th, 2014 08:40 pmThings were moving slowly with Phil, but tonight was definitely a date. A second date, really, since they'd watched the sunset together after the island had stopped being Vegas. And there had certainly been a little kissing, though not as much as she had learned to expect. He was an old-fashioned kind of guy, though, and it was sort of nice not to jump into bed immediately. Slightly frustrating in a good way, too.
He'd suggested they have some of his fresh-caught fish on the beach sometime and she'd agreed immediately. They'd eventually settled on this particular Sunday night since he didn't have anything to do for his various island responsibilities and neither did she. She'd then been vain enough to attempt to convince the box to give her something that would both look nice and not be tremendously uncomfortable while sitting on sand.
Eventually she'd managed it, although she still wasn't sure about the bow, and she paired the box's suggestion with some sensible but stylish sandals before walking down to the pier. When she arrived, she saw Phil wearing what looked like linen. He seemed to prefer it and she didn't blame him, although she was glad she didn't have to do his ironing. He was tending a little grill and had apparently gone to some trouble to make an appealing little tableaux with blankets, pillows, and a basket of something.
"This looks lovely, Phil," she complimented him warmly.

I just posted her first responder efforts, but in general, she's just hanging around the clinic being a doctor. If there's a post with medical stuff in it, she's almost certain to tag it.

Feb. 11th, 2014 08:32 pmCam: Cam just got her item, which combined with the whole pirates and mistletoe thing has her feeling very down on the island in general. She's glad of the friends she has, but she doesn't like the island very much. She does like the friends she's made on the island, though. She's got a little core of people she feels like she can trust and can rely on if needed. They're all male, but she considers that normal. She's never been the girltalk type.
Vegaswise, she'll be going to one of the upscale spas and having a wonderful time being pampered. Massage, seaweed wrap, facial, pedicure, manicure, pretty much the whole nine yards. Then she'll be going shopping and will, eventually, end up at a high end club or casino looking like an absolute knockout. Gambling holds little interest for her, so she probably won't do much of that. I'm not planning an EP, but she'll tag around.

Clinic Ideas (for Rollie)

It wasn't like they had a lot of serious cases to deal with, but Dr. House and Dr. Zimmerman were both gone now, which meant that the little admin things, not to mention the med students, were sort of left to their own devices. Rollie was a great doctor and he took good care of things, but if he ended up running the clinics and the med students all by himself, he was going to give himself a heart attack.
She wasn't sure what the answer was, but she liked Rollie and she'd rather he didn't need a triple bypass for so many reasons that had nothing to do with the lack of an ICU or cardiology ward. Maybe she should talk to him about it. She knew he'd be in the second clinic at this time of day, so she strolled down from the compound and walked in, hoping he wasn't in the middle of stitching someone's knee or something.
